Different adhesives have different properties. It is very important that you advise us of any unusual characteristics of the surfaces to which the label will be affixed, such as various types of plastics (polypropylene, polyethylene, etc.), vinyls, rough surfaces such as wood, small curved surfaces, irregular shapes, etc. All labels will have permanent adhesive unless otherwise specified.

L&N Label requires a signed proof before production begins. Proofs are generated within 24-48 hours after receiving artwork. Standard production time upon proof approval is 7-10 working days. No charge for proofs that become an order within 30 days.

No charge for typesetting up to 5 lines of straight copy (Maximum size of type is 14 point). If L&N designs or sets artwork, additional charges will apply.

Changes in quantities, copy or stock may be made depending on stage of order. These changes may require a change in pricing or a charge for work incurred. Cancelled orders will be subject to all charges for materials, artwork and services incurred at the time of cancellation.

Any color other than our standard colors will require a color match charge of $30 per color. Color matching charges apply to repeat orders.

Please call for a credit application. Otherwise, all orders will be shipped C.O.D. There is an additional $8.00 COD charge for shipping & handling.

Must be camera-ready. Camera-ready art refers to artwork which is ready to be shot for printing negatives. The artwork should be black and white, and of good quality. An Art Specification sheet is available upon request. If artwork needs to be enlarged or reduced to fit onto the label, additional charges will apply. We will not be responsible for errors in customer supplied copy. All artwork should be color separated with registration marks on each separation, and in close proximity to the crop marks.

All our inks are Light Fast Inks. We do not guarantee them for long periods of time outdoors.

If the label is to be exposed to moisture, then a varnish or a lamination film will be required in order to protect the ink from washing out. This varnish or lamination will protect against moisture, but will not give you greater sun resistance.

We seek to produce requested quantities. However, we reserve the right by industry standards to overrun or underrun orders by 10%, which will constitute fulfillment of the order.

Our standard production time is 10 working days. We will, for a rush charge, produce an order in less than normal production time. Charges vary depending on our current work load, item involved and complexity of art and production.

BLEED: Only die cut labels may bleed off the edge of the label.

FINE COPY IN REVERSE: It is not recommended to go below 6 point type, depending on the boldness of style selected if the label is to be printed in reverse. If using reverses, bleeds or screens, please call for art specifications.
